Harry Garewal is CEO of Trin and Associates, a consulting firm. He has an MBA (Business Administration)-University of Phoenix; a BS in Business Administration-ASU  and University of Phoenix;  and an Associates of Applied Science Degree (Computer Programming) Arizona Western College.

An entrepreneur can be defined as someone who demonstrates initiative by organizing a venture to take benefit of opportunities, but who, per famous economist Joseph Alois Schumpeter, is not necessarily motivated by profit. No one in Arizona epitomizes these themes more than Harry Garewal. Starting as an engineer with experience in aerospace, he has had many successful businesses, from international business consulting to management of medical centers to education.   

Just some of Harry’s many ventures have included being President of two Your Neighborhood Healthcare Center clinics in underserved areas of Phoenix; consultant for small businesses seeking contracts with city governments; a partnership that created a $22 multifamily low income housing facility; and initiation of Latin nights at Valley casinos.   What makes Harry special, and overdue in deserving of this recognition, is that he has never been motivated by profit. 

His greatest achievements, as an entrepreneur, involve helping other entrepreneurs become successful. During his six-year tenure as CEO of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC), he established vision, developed strategies, executed organizational infrastructure and governance, and improved AZHCC’s financial position. He generated over $165 million in activities by minority business enterprises; created over 600 new jobs, and established several local, national and international policies, that impacted Hispanic-owned businesses throughout Arizona, the USA and Puerto Rico.   

His greatest legacy, as an entrepreneur in Arizona, may be his impact on education.  Among his many accomplishments, that will result in a new generation of Arizona entrepreneurs, include his co-founding of the National Tri-Caucus Board Development Association, dedicated to improving opportunities for disconnected youth; serving on innumerable Boards; and chairing the Hope College and Career Readiness Academy Board in 2015.

He develops branding strategies and creates brand identities that help our clients’ products and services stand apart from their competitors, in ways that are meaningful and valuable.
